Middleton Cheney Memorial Hall and Playing Fields

The Playing Fields:

The Middleton Cheney Playing Fields were established in the 1950's for the benefit of all residents and still today it provides an invaluable open green space.

All residents are welcome to enjoy the facilities, and they are accessible 24/7. There is a car park and this is locked overnight.

The Memorial Hall:

The Memorial Hall at the Playing Fields, Astrop Road is available for hire seven days a week for groups, meetings and events.

The hall has a full entertainments licence and has capacity for 150 persons. Hirers are welcome to bring in their own outside bar / catering or you can contact us for local suppliers.

The hall is currently used regularly four nights a week for various groups depending on the season but there is availably most day times, Friday evenings and weekends.

The hall is serviced by a medium sized car park and there is an outdoor secure garden area to the rear. The Hall itself has a small permanent stage, the floor is mainly carpeted with a central wooden dance floor area. There is a separate side bar area which has a pool table are hardwood flooring.

There is a basic kitchen (no cookers) and the hall has ample tables and chairs for approx. 120.

Hall viewing is recommended prior to any hire, and you can contact the Secretary of the Playing Fields Association to arrange this.
