Community invited to show support for armed forces

Residents are being encouraged to show their support for veterans and serving personnel when South Northants Council (SNC) raises an Armed Forces Day flag above its offices on Monday, 24 June.

The annual event is part of the build up to Armed Forces Day (Saturday, 29 June 2019), which recognises the work done by the country's armed forces.

Public hearings on major planning policy start next week

A public hearing on a major policy document that will affect all planning decisions in South Northamptonshire, is set to start next week.

Northamptonshire councils given extra year to perfect new structure

Councils in Northamptonshire have been given an extra year to prepare for the biggest shake-up of local government since the 1970s.

Residents in South Northamptonshire are being urged to take note of important deadlines ahead of the European Parliamentary Elections on Thursday, 23 May 2019.

Apology after Council Tax billing error

South Northamptonshire Council is today apologising to residents for a billing error in their Council Tax.

Residents of South Northamptonshire will be receiving replacement Council Tax bills in the next week or so after the originals were issued with incorrect figures.
