A pilot scheme has been set up by Northamptonshire Police, Fire and
Crime Commissioner Stephen Mold to support farmers and landowners to
remove fly-tipping from their land free of charge and to put in place
measures to prevent it from happening again.

There has been a spate of Courier Frauds across the County , with suspects purporting to be Police Officers, for "safekeeping / forensic examination" from vulnerable people.
The Police will never call to seek any payment.

Northamptonshire Police has made significant improvements to its crime recording standards, with Her Majesty's Inspectors of Constabulary, Fire and Rescue Service (HMICFRS) awarding the Force a 'good' rating following their inspection visit in February and March 2020.
