It is important for us to remind families, that we are actively discouraging people from having bonfires and fireworks at home. Firefighters do often get called out to bonfires out of control, and we know that fireworks also need to be used with great care.

However, we want families to have as safe a Bonfire Night as possible, so we are also sharing safety tips for those who will choose to celebrate in this way at home. This is to help avoid some of the hazards people can experience when using fireworks or having bonfires.
