Bank holiday bins and opening times

Bin collections in South Northamptonshire will not be disrupted by the early May bank holiday, the council can confirm.

However, residents are reminded that South Northamptonshire Council's offices will be closed for the day.

The council offices at The Forum will be closed on Monday, 7 May and will reopen as normal on Tuesday, 8 May at 9am.

Have a say on the Roade Neighbourhood Plan

Roade residents are another step closer to taking greater control over local issues in their village.

Following submission of a Neighbourhood Plan by Roade Parish Council (RPC), South Northamptonshire Council (SNC) planning policy officers have reviewed the documents and agreed to publicise the plan for a period of eight weeks.

Final call for 2018 Open Selected Exhibition

Artists across South Northamptonshire and Cherwell are making the final touches to work they are about to submit to the 2018 Open Selected Exhibition.

The exhibition, which takes place at the Heseltine Gallery in Middleton Cheney between Saturday, 5 May and Sunday, 20 May forms part of Oxfordshire Artweeks and is a chance for artists of all levels to have their worked displayed.

Community groups invited to speak to grant givers

Anyone who wants to improve their community is being invited to meet organisations that might help fund their project during the third Funding Fair at Towcester Racecourse on Wednesday, 16 May 2018.
