Middleton Cheney - Vehicle Crime

Northamptonshire Police are appealing for information regarding a vehicle crime in High Street, Middleton Cheney.

This happened between 10:30pm on Thursday 16th August and 6:30am on Friday 17 August 2018.

Unknown person/s have gained entry to a silver van by forcing a hole in the rear door. Nothing has been stolen from inside the vehicle.

Report on future of Northamptonshire councils published Friday, 17 August 2018

The proposed local government reform submission papers will be available on Northamptonshire councils' websites from 3pm on Friday, 17 August 2018.

On the 11th June 2018. A meeting was held in the Parish meeting Room of Middleton Cheney to start up a new branch of the British Legion in Middleton Cheney. Fifteen residents turned out, the required amount to form a branch. The same meeting was held in the school rooms at Middleton Primary School in 1931 on the 9th April, with the chair position going to Rev. R. W. Peddler.

Mr Anthony (Tony) Morgan a resident in our village will be one of those incredible people who will have their hair shaved to raise much needed funds – so part of something amazing to help support those living with cancer.

Tony will be taking part on Saturday, 18th August raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support as they were very helpful to him when his wife passed away a few years ago.

Landlords alerted with new law on horizon

Private landlords are being alerted to a forthcoming change to the legislation covering houses in multiple-occupation (HMOs).
