Citizen information leads to fines for fly-tipping and dog fouling

A man who dumped unwanted clothes and a dog walker who failed to clear up after their animal were ordered to pay a combined total of £200 after Fixed Penalty Notices (FPN) were issued by South Northamptonshire Council (SNC) last month.

Northamptonshire Police are interested in any information of the following three vehicles:

a silver Mercedes C200 coupe,
a silver Volvo S40
a black Honda CRV.

These vehicles may be using false number plates and have been seen in suspicious circumstances.

Proposals to protect 32 treasured green spaces in South Northamptonshire are currently subject to public consultation.

Free family fun to showcase youth opportunities

It is hoped hundreds of families will attend free events in Brackley and Towcester this summer which aim to showcase the clubs and activities available to young people in South Northamptonshire.

New Play Equipment - Vandalism has taken place and I apologise to any families who have been disappointed if their son or daughter has been unable to use the equipment. We have removed any sharp pieces today and I'm told it is now safe to use. This has been reported to the police this evening.
