March 2020 Canons Ashby Update
The weather is getting warmer and the flowers are popping up this March. There's plenty going on in the garden behind the scenes and in the visitor areas. The garden team will be planting potatoes, peas, carrots and other veg which will be used in the tea-room when they're ready, or available for a donation from the honesty bench.

Middleton Cheney Scouts - look after the local feathered friends
Scouts have been working hard to make bird boxes and bat boxes for the feathered inhabitants of the village. They have used the RSPB designs to make bird boxes and bat boxes to earn parts of their scout badges and of course to help conserve wildlife.

The All Saints roof repairs are now completed
During the 9 months of the works the contractor used the grass verge in Rectory Lane by the north churchyard wall to park vehicles and rubbish skips. Unsurprisingly, given the heavy rainfall, this activity has turned this patch of verge, maintained by the Parish Council, into a sea of mud. Save Money by Booking Holiday Activities Early
Parents and guardians will save 10 per cent if they book their children on to South Northamptonshire Council's (SNC) popular half-term activity sessions between Wednesday, 15 January and Sunday, 19 January.
Once again, the sessions will take place at Magdalen College School in Brackley and Towcester Centre for Leisure between Monday, 17 February and Friday, 21 February.
