Co-option to Middleton Cheney Parish Council

Mon, 13 Dec 2021 07:00

Danny Moody will be at the Parish Meeting Room on Monday 13th December 2021 at 7pm to talk about the role of Parish Councillor.

After the appointment of four Councillors, Middleton Cheney Parish Council now has seven Councillors, meaning that five vacancies remain open. The Parish Council has decided to co-opt applicants to fill these vacancies at the PC meeting of 17th January 2022.

Danny Moody, CEO of NCALC (the Northamptonshire County Association of Local Councils) has kindly agreed to come to the Parish Meeting Room on Monday 13th December to talk about becoming a Parish Councillor, what the role involves, and the co-option process. Anyone interested in the work of a Parish Council and its members is welcome, and we encourage anyone interested in being co-opted to the Parish Council to attend, but it is not necessary to attend the meeting in order to become a candidate for co-option.

If you are interested in becoming a candidate for co-option to the Parish Council but cannot attend the meeting on the 13th December then please contact Val Furniss, the Clerk to the Parish Council, for more details.
