It is anticipated that there will be a high volume of Traveller vehicles/caravans leaving the Thame Showground, Oxon, over next few days.

To prevent unauthorised encampments, Parishes are advised to check that their open spaces and recreation fields are secured against vehicular access.

Northamptonshire Highways are requiring to carry out a major deflectograph survey along the entire B4525 from the A43 to the A422. History Society invite

The History Society invite you to join them for a special meeting on the proposed Walnut Tree Field Dig at 7.30pm in the Library on Monday, 31 July. The dig team will present the prospects for the late September archaeological dig in Walnut Tree Field, north of the village, in relation to previous evidence from the area. Play Areas

Unfortunately we have had some young people pull the temporary security fencing away, and ignore the signs that say not to enter, at both Stanwell and Astrop play areas.

Both areas are currently closed for refurbishment.

Once works are completed the play equipment then needs a post installation/inspection survey to ensure all H&S checks are OK.

Commissioning 0-19 years Public Health Nursing Services Consultation

Northamptonshire County Council is responsible for making sure that all children (aged 0-19) are safe, as healthy as they can, and that any health or development problems are identified as early as possible and the right treatment and care offered.
