HISTORY SOCIETY
Mon, 22 May 2017 19:30
Monday 22nd May. Members are invited to a special meeting (change of venue but usual time, 7.30pm). Visitor entry on this occasion is limited and you will need to pre-book by phoning Denise on 711962.
We will be meeting at SPRINGFIELD HOUSE (known to some of you as 'The Tanyard'), which is located at the bottom of Glovers Lane. Lynn and Paul Taylor have kindly invited us to visit their home where they will share the discoveries and surprises of renovating a house that has stood on this spot since 1640. This is a chance to share their journey (without being obliged to share the hard work involved!) as they restore a house that has almost 400 years of history.
